I have a picture of a tattoo but it's quite small and rather faint.

I'm pretty useless with Photoshop so was wondering if anyone would like to
help me out. I basically want to re-colour the tattoo jet black and maybe
increase the size of the picture without losing quality.

    Anyone fancy the challenge?

    Would appreciate it......

This image could be improved significantly using color correction
techniques. I'd recommend you spend a couple of hours learning the pen
tool, using the image as a guide to recreate this pattern perfectly.

Ok, when I said I was pretty useless with Photshop I meant completely
    useless.

I would love to learn how to use the program but I don't really have the
time. Which is why I was asking if anyone who knew how to use it could do
this for me (would probably only take someone 10 mins with the experience).

    Thanks for your reply anyway.

    :)

Jesus. If someone fancies doing me this small favour, awesome. If not, no
    biggie.

But any need for the stupid replies?

    Rare thing these days....

    Have a nice day everyone....

I hate to say it but it far past it expiration date when it comes to the
loss of quality. In English that means I don't think any one could make that
any worse. Good luck with it.

I think I know to whom you are alluding!! However this guy is a regular on
    two groups
alt.music.pearl-jam Whoever they are and rec.gambling.poker
So it is possible that this is a genuine request! so with that in mind, you
can help him or ignore him, think I'll ignore him personally!!!

No problem. It took less time to do that then it did for others to be rude!

Here's a question for you "Mr Jaffa"...

If you are posting on a Photoshop newsgroup then it implies that you own
    Photoshop.
If that is so why do you "own" Photoshop if you are not willing to learn how
    to use it?
If you are not willing to learn some of the basics then you might as well
put it (Photoshop) on Ebay and move over to something a little bit more
    simple, IE: crayons???

    he succeed.

  15. Hey numbnuts did it ever occur to you that maybe he needed this urgently and
not within the time he has available to learn certain aspects of PS.

when i started out there were plenty of things i wanted to do before i
actually learnt how to do them properly, and thanks to other peoples
knowledge and help i was able to achieve those ends. Sometimes people get
bogged down with these apps and need some help to kickstart things
As has already been stated it would have been quicker to have helped the guy
than come out with the crap. Its not like he was rude or anything

You should put up or shut up

Why does he need it urgently?

Well he did not want to learn he wanted someone to do it for him.

    He is lazy

If he wanted to he could have learnt how to do it.

    Yes I am lazy.

You obviously know enough about me to come to that assumption.

    Grow up.

Don't let them get to you. They are proving to the world that they assholes.
Why people can't take a few minutes to help each other out with out all of
    this shit is beyond me.

They certainly weren't getting to me. I've spent enough time on newsgroups
to understand how some people work, I was actually more amused than
    anything.

I know if I was well skilled in Photoshop and someone posted asking for help
like I did, if I had the time I certainly would have helped.

Thanks again to the kind peeps.
