    Depends I guees, what exactly do you want to print? Paper, size, speed, at
    home, commercially, etc, etc ??

    Canon makes some nice A4 units, HP is making inroads at some levels.

    And Canon heads don't clog anywhere as easily as some of the Epsons.

    True. My Canon i9950 printer often sits for weeks without printing, and
    in >2 years has never clogged. Just fires up when wanted and turns out
    perfect prints - at least from a technical POV - whether they are
    pictures is moot {:)

    I have been using a wide range of papers on my IP5200R and particularly with
    the Ilford papers get a great result, you must use the Ilford profiles for
    best results though.

    Interesting, pete. I was going to try Ilford, but then Canon came out
    with their semi-gloss paper, more of a lustre surface which is very
    nice, so I stayed with Canon.
