I hope it is in order to announce Arena's annual w/end not-for-profit
seminar to this list. As it is not a profit venture and is always full
please regard this as information rather than advertising.
It has just opened for bookings.
Some of you may have seen the piece on Arena in the most recent Photography
    Monthly magazine.

This event is put on just for the pleasure it gives, not for profit. It is
very informal and friendly with a mix of photographers and styles. It is
held in an old (obviously) listed Elizabethan country manor house in the
Berkshire countryside. Overnight accommodation is in small dormitory rooms
but there are Inns nearby offering other accommodation. There is a raffle of
work by Arena members and also work donated by guests, in help defray costs.

It is good fun and will fill up quickly. I enclose the mailing which is just
    being sent out.All are welcome.

    ARENA SEMINAR: Ufton Court
    Saturday 24th - Sunday 25th April.

    Dear friend and fellow photographer

I am delighted to be sending you a super programme for our 2004 annual
seminar at Ufton Court. Our speakers for Saturday are Paul Wenham-Clark and
John Blakemore, and on the Sunday we have Andrew Sanderson and Paul

John Blakemore's work needs little introduction - an exquisite range of
landscape and still life that is both pictorial and contemporary, which many
of us will be familiar with from his published works. Paul Wenham-Clark
lectures on photography as well as working in advertising, much of his work
    using digital imaging.

Paul Seawright has produced moving works on many topics including the RUC in
Belfast, essays on South Africa, and his book on Afghanistan which has been
widely acclaimed. Andrew Sanderson has published books on night photography
and toning and tinting techniques and a book titled "Home Photography",
    which is highly recommended.

With presentations from Arena members, an ever-changing exhibition of work
which we hope that you will contribute to, or even make a small presentation
on Saturday evening, there is something for everyone. It is a weekend full
of photography, with as friendly and like-minded a group as you could hope
    to find.

To book your place, fill in the attached booking form and return it to me,
or just email your reservation to .

We look forward to seeing you again.

    With best wishes
