I have a problem capturing video on my ASUS AGP-V7100 deluxe combo
(WindowsME) when using Roxio 6 and other software, such as MGI
VideoWave III and Ulead VideoStudio. The V7100 has and audio out pin
that I have connected to my SIS 630/730 internal mobo AUX input. The
ASUSLive utility works fine, but when I capture with 3rd party
software, the VFW driver does not engage the sound pass-thru on the
Asus board, so there is no audio (on speaker or in file).

Also, ASUS does not offer a separate VFW capture driver other than the
one in the Live utility. Does anyone have a solution other than
connecting audio to the external input on the mobo?

Another question: I also installed the NVidia WDM drivers (winME),
which install correctly and show up in the device manager. But in the
Video Capture device list in the mutlimedia control panel, there is
only an entry for Windows WDM capture device. Is this the nvidia
device? Also, why won't Roxio 6 DVD creator use the WDM device? Thanx
