    I received my 2 polaroid filters in the mail. When I oppose them or rotate
    their polarity against each other, it cuts off all shorter wavelengths.
    When they're completely opposing, the entire image is monochrome blue (in
    various shades).

    I didn't see any of the funky colour effects you mentioned with plastic
    rulers or sugar... in fact, with this whole blue thing, I don't see how I
    could see any colours at all! (??)

    Please clarify ;)

    When you have them crossed, when you are seeing the blue, then put the
    plastic between them, the light goes through one filter, the object
    you are looking at, then the other filter.

    Wow cool!

    Can you get plastic filters? It'd be funky to take a photo with pl : plastic
