Well sports fans, it's April and that only means one thing .... THE MASTERS !!!

    http://www.pbase.com/bret/masters04

The Totally Digital D60 had to share duty with the Fabulous EOS-1V as I was
down to one Microdrive. But the Fabulous EOS-1V, loaded with Reala and Provia,
proved to be an adequate backup. I'll be posting more pics to the gallery as
they become available. Scanning a lot of negatives and slides at 5400ppi
    sucks.

  3. Some really good stuff, Bret. I love how the other golfers watch Mr
Palmer intently, as if to gleen some tuition from the retiring legend.
You caught the moment well. Good work!

  7. Why do they call it the "Masters" anyway ? Let's face it, these Golf Pros
    aren't that good !!

After all, I've never seen tiger woods hit his ball through the little
windmill first time without the sails catching it yet, have you ?

Yes you have, but then in most of those situations I wasn't battling 40,000
fans all armed with either digital cammies or plastic single-use pieces of
    shit.
It is hard getting decent shots when you get a bunch of "leaners" in front of
    you.
I really need a PRESS pass to get inside the ropes access.

I'll try to do better when I go stalk the LPGA ladies in a few weeks.

It seems to me that your past portfolio of golf shots should be enough
to get you stringer press-cred and a letter from the Chattanooga
    Picayune-Herald-Reporter-Inquirer-Independant... have you tried?

    Cheers,
    Alan.

Very credible job. PJ is mos def your axe. The color is 100% better than
usual. I don't know why you don't email this stuff to a few papers. Can't
    hurt, might help. Bob Hickey
