Just "acquired" this problem in my XP Home system. All my video clips
from my camera (Canon) all run too quick in Media Player. They used to
run normal speed - but now they don't, and I can't slow them down. I'm
using XP Home with SP2 and Media Player 9.
Interestingly the clips run perfectly fine using Quicktime. Anyone got
any ideas on this one ?

    Many thanks

    check the media player settings.

There is an option for normal, fast and slow speeds.

No - I checked those, and they make no difference at all. But thanks
    for the suggestion

Dont know if this is might help... some time ago any audio file I played was
    too fast.
After removing and re-installing the drivers to my soundcard it worked fine.

Maybe you could try removing media player and reinstalling it?
