    Hi,

Just wondering. Olympus sells the B-28 WCON-08E as a 0.8X wide angle
    lens for the Camedia cameras.

On old posts on this newsgroup and elsewhere, I often see people
referring to the wide angle lens they use for their Camedia cameras as
    just plain B-28.

Olympus does have a B-28 for their IS 35 mm film cameras. It's a 0.8X
wide angle lens as well. If I were to buy this lens instead, and get the
appropriate step rings, will it work just fine with the WCON-08E with
the same optical quality? Is it just the same lens? No vignetting?

    Thanks,
