    Hi all,

I wanted to get some feedback about good online retailers. Up until
now I have dealt exclusively with B&H and have found them to be great,
but I've been waiting for over a month now for them to get stock in of
a couple of lenses and teleconverters that I'm after. I've asked them
when they can expect stock, and I get a "brush-off" type of response
    .... not very impressive.

Anyway, since I'm not getting any joy from B&H at the moment, I
thought I would look elsewhere. I know that KEH has had some good
reviews, and I had a look at Calumet but they're very expensive
    compared to B&H.

Since I'm in Australia I will be needing to have the order shipped
overseas, so I was wondering who people have had ordered from and who
    would you recommend?

    Thanks guys

I've only ordered from Calumet once. It was a good experience, but
I don't know that I'd yet be willing to rate them better than the
other online retailers I've been happy with. They'd get a great
deal more business from me if they didn't have any store fronts in
NY - which would allow me to save the tax. As it is, since I live
in NY, I have to pay tax to almost every conceivable online photo
retailer because they're ALL in this state.

Anyway - as for KEH, I can recommend them highly. I've spent
thousands of dollars purchasing from them and only once did I ever
send anything back(and they took it back even though it was within
their rights to refuse the return! Actually, it was this one
experience with them that put them on the top of the list for me.)
They're rating system is very conservative and fair. In my opinion,
purchasing used from them is every bit as good as buying new from
almost anyone else. Furthermore, if you search them out on Ebay,
you can actually get some deals that are better than you'll find on
    their primary website.

The only problem with any of these that you'll find, being from Aus.,
is that shipping could be rather steep. If you have to ship anything
back for any reason, you'll have to pay the return shipping, too.
