Bach convert files to JPEG with CS

Discussion in 'Photoshop Tutorials' started by Dominik Geisel, Apr 18, 2005.

  1. Hi!

I found out that Photoshop saves images in JPEG format with the best
size/quality relation when quality is set to "high".
But is there a way to batch save all files in one directory to "high"
quality JPEG files with Photoshop CS?

    Thank you for your help!

Probably the easiest way would be to use the File>Automate function and an
Action built to Save_As JPG and set the level to "highest." If you do not want
to do all, then use the Browser, select the desired files, and again, use
File>Automate and the Action to do this.

Use Dr Brown's Image Processor. http://www.russellbrown.com/

Curious. I don't recall hitting "send," before I typed anything, but must
have. That is what I get for going directly from alt.food.wine to CGAP while
drinking a big Zin. I'll try and not let this happen again. <G>
