40D? Old news. What about the 50D? Should I wait for the 80D?

I've never seen that admission by him, but I rarely go to his site so
you may be right. Still, he gives Nikon a bad name.

It's all going to be like the optical/evf thing that the Sony A350 has
before too long. So what every you get just make sure you get it before the
    5D dies and is "worthless."

I keep waiting for someone to come out with the megamount camera, got a
    lens, slap it on!

    Screw the 80D! That's yesterday's papers.
The 90D is the one you want. I got the full specs on it from a site
in Belarus that has since been pulled, and that baby will really be
something, believe dat! Three hotshoe sockets for true holographic
imaging! The dual lens mounts should also produce some interesting
effects. Early reports claim that the AF issues are still there,
however my friend's mother heard at her beauty shop that Canon already
has a firmware upgrade in the works. You can take that to the bank!

By his own words, shall you know him:

"While often inspired by actual products and events, just like any other
good news organization, I like to make things up and stretch the truth if
they make an article more fun. In the case of new products, rumors and just
plain silly stuff, it's all pretend. If you lack a good BS detector, please
treat this entire site as a work of fiction."

This quote was pulled from here: http://www.kenrockwell.com/about.htm

I've "suggested" that people avoid that site at all costs, but he's got a
real fan base, especially on DP Review. Some of those morons rationalize
Ken's articles to the Nth degree to the point of embarassment.

So I've got some real problems here. Right now, when the 50D is announced,
I'm only behind by 45. And it'll get worse every year until the 9,000D is
announced and I'll be behind by 8,995. This is going to get ugly. Of course,
if Canon introduces a new model called the 3D, I'll be up by two. So I've
    got that going for me.

I suspect you have no clue what you're talking about.
Here is an idea: if you all know so much better than Ken,
why don't you create YOUR own site, where you expose
your knowledge to wide criticism. Like he does.
But that would presume you'd have a spine. And we all
know that "Usenet critics" lack such...

For the record: I don't "follow" Ken's site,
it's just like any other as far as I'm concerned.
So spare yourself the usual moronic fanboy tirades,
    they'll be wasted.
