Hi just received a Nikon R1 flash for a medical study, directions say
use CR123A lithium batteries. This doesn't give me much faith in
1)battery life 2) recycle time. For a $450 flash unit I expect some
performance. Is there an AC battery for this unit? Is anyone familiar
with the flash performance. Just hate to wait 5-10 seconds between
flashes. Have to take 6-10 pictures per patient and the wait just
    doesn't look very professional.

    Thanks
    Tom
