Beautiful enlarger soon to be in landfill

Discussion in 'Darkroom Developing and Printing' started by clanceylufkin, Jul 13, 2008.

  1. OK...so it's kinda big but I can't find anyone to take the thing off
my hands for the price the Rodenstock lenses are worth on e-bay, so
unless someone here has some is interested in the thing it's going in
my trailer and to the dump sans lenses. It's a Eseco computer
controlled enlarge with all the bells and whistles. It's upright so
it doesn't take a ton of space but you have to have 8 foot ceilings.
I would love it someone wanted the thing and only want to not be
bothered with the removal....so if anyone want's to come pick it up
it's free. It would be just too too sad to pull the lenses out and
    haul it to the dump.

    cheers
    Greg

  2. That's nice, but you forgot to include one piece of crucial info:
    where are you?

doodle. It is balder and dash."

I second that-- I collect _and_use_ 'classic' photo gear. If you are within
a couple days drive, and it weighs less than one ton, get in contact with me

You seem to have forgotten to include the same information. How will he
know how many days' drive away you are?

If it's one ton or better, I want to see it.

Everyone knows where I am... no, I don't have much of an ego!
    Southwest Indiana.
As I humbly crawl into a hole, I'm trying not to trip on my tail between my
    legs...

  7. Doing a reverse lookup on the OP's IP address shows that he's probably
somewhere in Saskatchewan (this could be wrong though). The big question
is - How fast do you drive?

  8. Ken, how far south? I'm in central IL and might be interested.

  9. Remember you're not replying to the OP here. From the looks of things
here, since they haven't replied since posting the "offer", that
enlarger may soon be on its way to mouldering in the ground ...

  10. Hello Ken....I think I've delt with you before...did you perhaps send
me a disc film carrier for a mini lab about 6 years ago? I don't know
why but I know your name. I'm greg from film rescue. I'd love for
you to have this thing and yes it is under a ton and yes...I think you
could drive here in two days....I know I could. The thing just needs
to be disassembled. It's still in position. Anyway...sorry to take
so long posting back...I kind of forgot I made this offer and didn't
really expect any answers. e-mail me at or
    call 1 800 329 8988
