Ok who is making the best of these for EOS cameras?
My girlfriends EOS3 is using batteries too fast...
Whats best, who has best prices?
From my experience the Duracells died the fastest.
    How about these?

  2. I was having probelms with Duracells in my Maxxum 7. A guru at Minolta
recommended I try Varta, and they seemed to work out very well.

  3. EOS3s shouldn't be heavy on batteries. (However mine is, and although out of
warranty, Canon UK didn't want to carry out a repair.)
When not in use, I store the 2CR5 upside down* and this extends the life
considerably. I also buy my Panasonic 2CR5s in 10 or 12s, and get the benefit
    of a quantity discount.
*In my case, this practice doesn't appear to upset the internal memory of the
EOS3 which records last used mode, CFs, shutter speeds etc. and most
importantly, the next exposure no. Now I'm using a 10D, it's sometimes months
between outings for my EOS3 and the internal memory has never failed yet.

I thing Energizer are definitely better than Duracell.

I also use AF very little, so the batteries tend to last a lot longer.

The el-cheapo Sanyo batteries last me the longest. Check I picked up a bag of 10 of them for less than $2.50
