best HP

    what's the best HP picture printer.
    in your opinion, and why...

    The one in the dumpster ...

    HP still hasn't learned that you don't make the user repeat and repeat
    and repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat and
    repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat and
    repeat and repeat and repeat the same steps fro each and every use.

    Everyone else stores the preferences of the -last- use and provides a
    'reset' button for starting over. They haven't a clue!

    I'm curious what printer and operating system you are commenting on. I'm
    using HP970s under win2k and 98 with out this problem. Also- please
    correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it possible to make multiple copies
    of the printer driver for the same printer, set variable default
    settings of your choice, and then rename the printer to something which
    describes your settings.

    I have used 3 different HP printers over the years and never any problem with them. The quality is very good.
