Best Internet Photo Sharing Sites

  1. Who does the best online photo sites, I'm curious?

I am very computer literate so making a web page and FTPing the files is not
a big deal to me--although I must admit it can get labor intensive without
special software to help (Nikon View 6 does help quite a bit; I have a
    Coolpix 775).

    My top priorities (in order)

*Obviously, storage space. 5 meg ain't enough, that's what most ISPs give
you as free web page space

*Ability to layout as I wish. I HATE albums which only show like 6
thumbnails on a page, and you have to keep clicking "NEXT" like
8,434,243,432,344 times just to view like 10 photographs. Ridiculous. I like
being able to get like 50 or even 100 thumbnails on one page.

*Absence of intrusive pop-up ads (a LITTLE onpage icons I can live with)

*As a option--not a necessity--I'd like to be able to "secure" certain areas
so as to only allow people whom I give a code to or the like to be able to
see them. (This is a small priority, something that would be sort of helpful
    but isn't crucial.)

    Opinions?

  2. Have a look at http://fototime.com. It will do everything you desired
I use it and really like it.
It costs a few bucks a year but IMO, that is a lot easier than creating and
    maintaining your own site.

They charge $23.50 per year for 250MB disk space - each additional 250MB
costs 250MB. I won't subscribe to it unless they give me unlimited disk
quota for that price. Sony imagestation - www.imagestation.com and/or many
other sites don't charge any fee and give you unlimited space.
