I am currently using the canon mp-e 65 mm lens and love it. I want to get something to work with between normal and 1x though since I find alot of macro subjects I cant fit into the frame of the mp-e65mm. What lens do you suggest?

    Hello Fishman,

I have shot/owner both the canon 100mm L and the non L version. I have to be honest for my dollar the non L version works great. I am a pretty loyal L lens user, however this time I kept the non L and shipped back the 100mm L IS. I really didn't need the IS much and found that all the macro stuff I do being outside I can get the shutter speeds I need to get great macro shots! Save $500 and buy the non l version!

    Thanks,
    Mathew Irving
