Best place online to buy lenses

Discussion in 'Photography' started by Tentacle Pr0n, Jan 25, 2004.

  1. I dont want to pay the full price at my local shop but I want good price but
more importantly a good retailer that is not "grey market". US retailer is
    a must.

Can anyone help me find a couple good ones?

For new lenses: B&H and Adorama.
For used lenses: KEH and Adorama.

I have been very happy with their prices and service. Knowledgeable
    counter help there as well.

Although I have not purchased from them online, I did drive the hour or
so there to buy my 70-200 f/2.8L IS. The savings compared to the local
shops made the effort well worth it.

If you are looking for good quality used lenses, try:

I've bought a number of lenses from them, all in great condition.

I've bought several lenses from them and from Adorama. They may
grade better, but OTOH they charge more. That is, an "excellent" as
graded by KEH generally costs more than an "excellent" graded by
Adorama. But I've bought several from both, more from KEH (better
    website, larger selection)
