    Hi all,

My brother-in-law and I are buying a D70 each, at the same time, so I was
wondering who has the cheapest price in Melbourne.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Tim.

I also want to buy 2 bags, 2 UV filters, 2 512MB CF cards and I want the
standard kit 18x70 lens on the cameras.

I'd also like to buy from a shop in Melbourne for easy returns.

I got a quote from Camera Exchange in Lonsdale Street as follows:
    Nikon D70 with 18x70mm x2: $3900 (before Nikon cashback)
    512MB Sandisk Ultra 2 x2: $180
    Hoya UV filter x2: $60
    Nova 3 Lowerpro bag x2: $150

    Total: $4290.

I'm pretty happy with that as it was slightly cheaper than JB hifi, and I didn't
ask Camera Exchange to price match. I just asked them for a quote.

see John (owner) camera exchange. He may match the price of JB and the
service and knowledge from a real camera store is invaluable. They have been
trading for many many years and have a huge following and huge range of
second hand equipment. Price is only half the story when buying quality
equipment.......Service and advise is the other half that discounters lack.
What is the price for good advise ?

Camera Exchange gave me a better quote than JB.
