Be careful of pigs flying overhead. Such a deal would mean compromising
the Leica/Panasonic alliance. Next we'll hear about Sigma lenses being
re branded as Leica lenses because Leica sold the rights to make them to
    Panasonic.

I'm not buying it, either. It really makes no sense, especially since Leica
branded lenses for Canons would cannibalize Canon's lens sales, and the
sales of the "miracle plastic" lens hoods that cost $500.

You can be sure that the prices of used Leica lenses would increase
rapidly if Leica offered an "official" adapter to fit them to a full
    frame DSLR.

Currently, people are deterred from doing this by the poor quality of
some Chinese-made adapters, the high cost of high quality adapters
which still aren't officially endorsed by Leica*, and the risk of the
reflex mirror colliding with the very-expensive-to-replace rear
element of some lenses, especially in the case of the Canon EOS 5D. An
official Leica DSLR, or an official Leica R to Canon EF adapter, would
remove some of the deterrent, and prices of used Leica R lenses would
    rise.

[*I believe Leica does offer a Leica R to Four Thirds adapter]

It took Zeiss to give Nikon some half-decent glass, so why not?

You actually replied to that? A troll, getting trolled? I have lost all
    respect for you.
