I have assembled a PC with components from old computers: PIII 800Mhz,
384 MB RAM. One of the components is the Studio DC10+ card.

The DC10+ card is giving problems. When overlaying in the Capture tab
of Studio software (version 1 in Win98 or 9.4 version in XP) after one
minute video decrease fps rate, droping frames, going to worst. I am
not capturing to Harddisk, only watching the video in the preview
Window. First seconds or minute everithing is OK but after that time
    the problems appear.

I think I have to adjust BIOS settings because I have tried it in
Windows XP and Windows 98. In another motherboard I worked some years
ago with no problems (Windows 98, no shared IRQ, 1.06 drivers
    versions).

Could it be any BIOS setting? How do I know what BIOS update I have to
    download?
