Bitmap Alpha Channel

    sorry for double posting...and sorry if i posted this thread in the wrong section. Again... I'm new to this forums.
    Okay so i have a bitmap file that has an alpha channel, is there any way i can export it as a png file with an alpha background using the bitmap's alpha channel? ~Thanks
