I currently own a N65 and have had extreme success and satisfaction with it. I am planning to move on to a DSLR now which is D80. I currently own a
    28-80 G Lens
    70-300 G Lens
    SB-60DX Speed Light
    ML-L3 Remote
    A few 52 mm filters

Now I know that I can use everythig with D80 except for the SB-60DX since it does not have iTTL which means I have to spend like 170 bucks on SB-600. ( I am still thinking about it).

    I have a few questions

    1. Is spending 170 bucks on a SB-600 worth it and justifiable? with the fact that I already have a speed light?
    2. I am confused whether to use my existing 28-80 or should I get a 18-55 now on a DSLR 18-55 is going to be like 28 - 80, 28 - 80 is going to be like 42 - 120 and 70 - 300 like 105 - 450. Is there so much difference between 28mm and 42mm ? atleast I did not find much of a difference when I played around with both these lenses in wolf camera. The difference was minimal but I may be wrong.

So can someone please guide me on the above 2 questions ?
