Camera bag question

  1. Greetings.
This is my first time visiting, and I hope to get some good leads from
    you all.
I own a decent 35mm camera and various accessories, as well as an 8mm
    camcorder...also with typical extra stuff.
So far I've been carrying them in their own individual cases. What I'd
like to find is a single case, designed as a backpack, that's big enough
to carry both, and all their accessories.
Trips I've taken out west the last few years had me hiking to some
wonderful spots, and not knowing what I might encounter I wanted both
    still and video cameras along.
It occurred to me how much easier it would be to carry them in a single
pack that I could wear on my back, freeing my hands for more important
    things.

A recent trip to the only good camera store in my city caused my eyes to
pop out. Yes, there were many bags that seemed to meet my needs, but all
at costs of near or over $300 each!

So, what I'm wondering is.....does anyone know if a bag like I want
exists for much less than this amount?
If not, I'll just deal with the two separate bags I currently have.
    Thanks.

    Randy

We're living in a world that's been pulled over our eyes to blind us
from the truth. Where are you, white rabbit?
