Camera Mount Screw for Bike Handle

Discussion in 'Photography' started by Enrique Arredondo, May 12, 2006.

  1. Has anyone seen on sale a DigitalCamera/Camcorder Mount adapter to mount on
my road bike ? I'm not planning on making any crazy stunt just easy cruising
    on a beach trial.

I was thinking on getting from HomeDepot a Screw and weld it on the bike's
Handle bar but if there's something already out there for a couple of bucks
I'll just go without the hassle..

    Thanks

just a thought but cant u use a pipe bracket from a plumers.
then use a bolt to mount it around the hanlebars? just make sure the thread
is suitable to fit the bottom of the camera...

I would think that a camera riding on the handlebar of a bike would get
the tripe shaken out of it. What about a harness to hold the camera
against your chest, with a remote release cord to your hand?

Yes that example is a camcorder probably with gyroscope stabilizing of
some sort. Mounting on your body would be much smoother for still shots.
