Can the EXIF data in a JPEG be nulled out? In others words, I want to
send an image to an aquaintance, but not enable them to see any
properties of the image, except the image itself.

    Regards.

I believe some image editors will delete the EXIF data, either always or
    by option.

This is true, Irfanview, for one, will offer the option but -- wouldn't
this constitute a re-save, rather than a nulling of the EXIF data?

Of course -- but it would be a solution to the problem -- produce a copy
to send sans EXIF data. I'm not sure what "nulling" would mean, other
than setting it all to zero.

Yes, Irfanview can produce a copy without EXIF data, recompressing
    the image.

But that might be okay too, if the person receiving the image doesn't
    need the highest quality.
