Canon 300D tips & tricks website?

Well, maybe it's a bit soon, but when someone starts a user tips website for
the 300D, I'll be a regular visitor. Can anyone suggest any websites with
tips on processing digital photos- based on the 10D/300D RAW file
parameters?

 

Here is the one tip you need....

Get "Capture One" (phaseone.com) for your RAW conversion and chuck Canon's
software in the bin!

Actually, keep Canon's FVU for sunsets, C1 is GREAT but it's not perfect
"yet" and has a little trouble with yellow/orange grads.... but for
everything else it is amazing!! (they are working on the problem)

Have a look at http://www.pixelpix.com.au/TESTS/10Dsharpening.jpg (this
from another thread where we are talking about default sharpening) you will
see that C1 is able to grab more detail/finer image quality right from the
start.

BreezeBrowser's 'combined' conversion mode is much better for sunsets
than Canon's s/w.

Interesting. I've run into problems with processing highly saturated
red/orange light, but I'd been assuming that the problem was with my
source images. Any pointers to further information on this problem in
C1?

I have been talking to C1 and supplied samples and they are working on it...
we just need to wait it out I s'pose.

 

What does the C1 (LE and Pro) program do ???

And what bis the difference with Capture one 2.9.2
