I bought this camera last month while vacationing in St. Thomas. Now, the
flash won't work. It pops up and then the camera clicks 3-4 times and then
the LCD flashes that the batteries are dead, which is not true. I've only
taken 3 rolls so far. Any ideas why its doing this? If I'm posting this in
the wrong place, could someone please direct me to a better source? I'm
trying not to send it to canon, since that will take over a month.

Have you left it on since you bought it?
    Have you tried new batterys?
Any chance you have a Sigma lens on it?

That lens is a piece of crap. Go buy a 50mm 1.8 for $69 US dollars.
