Canon EOS 70D (W) with EF-S 18-135 IS Lens

    I recently bought the above & I also bought a Canon EF 50mm
    My query is as below:

    When I am using the EF 50mm in AF mode, the focusing ring rotates when focusing BUT when I am using the
    EF-S 18-135mm in AF mode then I do not see the focusing ring rotate.
    Is this OK ?
    I know that the EF-S 18-135 has internal focusing.

    Kindly advise.
