Canon UK service delays

    Anyone know how to get management attention on Canon UK's service
    department performance?

    Apparently (I discovered after 16 mins on hold) they are only now looking
    at repairs received over a month ago - so anything sent later than that has
    not even been opened for an estimate, let alone repaired!

    By contrast, Nikon answer the phone in one-eighth of the time and are
    quoting two weeks for repairs.

    How can it be acceptable for warranty repairs to sit unopened for a month,
    and for overall repair times presumably to be 5-7 weeks??

  2. Your contract is with the retailer unless you bought directly. If your
    retailer cannot repair items then request a replacement - (or a courtesy
    camera?).
