Canon vs Nikon

    Quite. So apart from Official Events in the mess (or some one else's
    mess and reunions etc there is little point in wearing a regimental tie.

    In the 1950's people still did wear the regimental tie on a daily basis
    but by the 1970's most did not. As for "old School" ties.... not in a
    business context. It is considered "bad form" and is counter productive.

    Both comprehensives I went to and the Grammar School (dear old thing
    had a 400 year History) had ties as did the two collages and university
    I went to.

    They probably won't let you wear the old school tie because you don't
    know the difference between "college" and "collage".

    I only see two Canon shooters there. The black lens is probably a
    Tamron or such...look at the camera strap. Red edge the entire
    length...looks like Canon to me.
