I'm just about ready to purchase a pocketable Point/shoot digital camera.
    I've been reading some terrific things about Casio's EX-Z750. i did a
little research, and i was pretty much sold on this camera until i read some
newsgroups about a chronic 'Lens Error' that plagues this camera. Can
anyone share some experiences or advice on whether or not i should make this
    purchase ? Thanks

Suggest you go to the dpreview Casio forum. You'll get a broad range of
    thoughts.

Reading between the lines, I think it may be that the lens focusing
mechanism can get knocked out of sync (skips a tooth?) if the lens gets
knocked or if the camera turns on inside a case with the lens unable to
extend. I could be wrong though, I don't own one, my last camera was a
Casio and I still keep up to date with Casio info.
