Color problem with Nikon D1

  1. Why do all of my pictures take on the dominate color of a photograph?.

EX1: If I take a picture of a deer in a field of green grass, the entire
picture takes on a greenish tint.
EX2: If I take a picture of people in a swimming pool , the entire picture
    takes on a blueish tint.

The problem doesn't happen with reds. At least I don't notice it as much as
the greens and blues. I do correct this with editing but I'm just curious as
to why this happens. Is this a common thing with DSLR's or do I have a
    problem with my camera?.

Have you eliminated your monitor or does it do it on all monitors ?
