    Just curious,

What typical color temps. and WB's do you find in most indoor football
stadiums? How about typical ISO's. I know this all depends on what lens
one is using but say for ......400 f2.8 and a 24-70 f2.8? I'm thinking of
    shooting some indoor motorcycle action.

Color temperature from gas discharge lighting is problematical, as the
spectrum emitted by such lamps is discontinuous, i.e. there are some
wavelengths or colors which are not, or only partially, emitted. You
can achieve a generally acceptable balance, but certain colors will be
wrongly rendered, and you just have to live with it.

If you set a custom white balance on your camera for the situation, you
    should be ok.
