Compatability Nikon D50 and older 35MM Lenses

    I was considering purchasing a Nikon D50 and have access to some older Nikon
    35MM lenses (not auto-focus. If I used the D50 in manual mode could I use
    these lenses.

    You might want to call Nikon and ask them. The mount is the same, but
    you would need to tell them which lenses you have.

    Or log onto http://nikonians.org. There is a forum for lenses there,
    and one of the guys will probably know :)

    Depends on what the lenses are...

    I have a 1973/4 Nikkor 1000mm reflex which works fine on my D70.....
