I have edited a movie and have kept the audio in 5.1 surround sound, the
way it was recorded. I'm trying to find a suitable compiler format so that
the audio remands in 5.1 format when it is loaded into DVD Achitech.
I normally choose MPG2 and compile the video with separate sound file.
I can't find any option to tell the compiler that I want the audio compiled
as 5.1 sound. All I can find under he audio tab is stereo options is stereo
    sound.

I would welcome some help. I want to create a DVD of a video I recorded
with my camera and play it back with the surround sound on the DVD Player.

I found out that even if Vegas says 'Stereo' in the Audio setup menu
it will still compile as a 5.1 audio video using MPeg2.

I found out that even if Vegas displays "Stereo in the audio setup
menu, the file will still render as a 5.1 audio video.
