compression for PAL

    I have an animation in After Effects that is to be screened on a large flatscreen (widescreen format) monitor in PAL. I will be bringing it into Studio Pro as a quicktime file to burn the DVD. What is the best codex to be using for best quality (file size is not a problem its only 2 minutes long). And is aspect ratio 720x576? And which field should be rendered first?
