Sad, man. You are really sad. I've never stabbed you in the back. I voiced that
I agreed with *one* piece of advice you gave, and called you up and the rest of
the crap you vomit here. I don't know how you think that giving credit makes
someone else look good, but I guess it might in your sad twisted little world.
Anways, continue with your childish name-calling. No-one here really takes you
    seriously.

My favorite portrait work is model photography, because the models tend to
be very invested in the outcome of the photographs, and have some knowledge
of what it takes on the subject's part to produce a good photograph. They
are also very patient and experimental. I wouldn't expect any of that from
the Smith family who just wants a nice family picture to hang over the
    fireplace.

When it comes to photo contests, that's not really the kind of recognition
I'm talking about. It's just the satisfaction of knowing that people are
looking at your picture. "Giving it away free" isn't really an issue - it's
just one picture (out of thousands that I haven't entered in the contest),
    and they're just looking.

    nothing of any consequence whatsoever.

You hide behind your pseudonym and hide your 'art' and wallow in
    self-indulgent semantics.

Put your money where your mouth is and give us a URL where we can see
your 'art' - or are you as ashamed of your photography as you seem to
    be of your identity?

Good for you, Mike. For me, the buzz with photography is giving others
a glimpse of my view of the world, hopefully with an interesting
    composition with some photographic merit.

Opinionated individuals who hide behind stupid names, and can't back
up their claims with anything other than empty words should be
    ignored.

  10. However, I read the message quoted by "me" and it said absolutely nothing
about "film is better than digital." Instead, several with either poor
reading skills or a desire to start an argument interpretated it that way.
Regardless, while one can show photo composition and content (not the
arguments here), one cannot illustrate the quality of either media by
posting small sample images on a web site (a $30 digital camera or $10
disposible film camera can do that). As such, the argument about media would
not be advanced in any way by a display of such photos.

True points indeed, but "me" signs his name "film best, me" and has
    "throttled" digital in other posts.

Indeed and considering the climate in this NG that's a cattle call for
    attack.
Only in retaliation as Mr Stewart pointed out. The war was started some time
    ago and not by me.

    [snip]
Your insult above is mildly amusing. Did you make that one up
especially for me, or do you have a database?
A particularly unconvincing response to that one. A sad smiley doesn't
    exactly rebut my statement.
I don't have to. Others are saying it. Just point us to a place where
we can see your photographs. If not on the web then a gallery in a
real building would be even better.
    Whadya mean by CG? If you mean my sig is 'Repeated too often;
overfamiliar through overuse' then too bad. It's not in anyway
pretentious or childish. A phrase involving the words 'kettle' and
    'black' springs to mind.
So you're a dab hand with cut'n'paste, and can even edit other
people's text. Impressive. That thing you did with lots of 'A' and 'H'
    characters was really cool.

But now I find myself regrettably sinking down to your childish level.
So I shall cease and desist. Flame me all you want. I won't respond.
If you want the last word, then go right ahead - you win.

But why won't you tell us who you are - and let us see your photos?

This time I'll omit my hackneyed CG since it bothers you.

There are no photos. If there were, "me" would have shown them, wanting to show
off how such an awesome photographer he is. Because he has not shown not a
single image, we must presume that he is not confident in his own work and fears
redicule of said "work" by the people who's work he has already mocked.

Ok, so you you don't want to post a url on this newsgroup. How about emailing me
a url then. My email addess should be now showing. Use web-based email address
    if you like.

"gang controlled" is an interesting term. I thought "me" was into freedom of
speech, yet he would like to restrict others speech and opinions. A number of
people here know that "me" is simply a troll, that doesn't make it a "gang" -
just a number of internet folk with a similar opinion.

I think you meant to say "show off how awesome" not "show off how such an
awesome". Anyway that's lame. When did I *ever* say that. Is that all you've
got? You can't really believe you can taunt me with that lame nonsense do
    you?
Wrong, that's spelled "ridicule". And as far as ridicule is concerned you
and the other gang members in this group have nothing new left to give.
I'm tired of this question so surely you *must* be.
Just a number of folk who can't stand the following:
Film best, (ignore it or learn to live with it grol)

PS: WTF is a grol? Is that an NZ name or something you say when you step in
    shite?

    You are kidding right???
You know someone is really losing an argument when all they can do is pull
you up about your spelling and grammar
Nope, put up of shut up.
Just photographers who all know that film and digital are both forms of
photography, where exactly do crayons and paper come in that lineup
It's a nickname, you moron, usually given to people as a sign of affection
by friends and/or family, the fact that it mean bugger all to you is of
    little consequence to anyone.
