Coolpix 3700?

    does anyone know about a Coolpix 3700 camera? the only detail i have is
    that it should be 3.2 megapixels and have a durable metal case.

    Sounds promising. This is the second time this evening that you have
    brought us a promising Nikon rumor. May I ask where you pick them up?
    There is still no sign of anything at the sites that I check for news
    about Nikon.

    No doubt we shall know for sure in a few days.

    For several years now they have released a new camera at this time of
    the year. Would be really curious if it doesn't show up very soon.
    We might have both, you know, as well as a successor to the 4500.
