I know this is a Photoshop group. But I thought someone here might have
a suggestion why this is happening.

I am trying to create some vinyl templates. I have formed the shapes
and traced them on paper. I scan the drawings in PP and then draw over
    them in CD

My problem is that one drawing requires 4 scans to get the complete
image. The pieces are 10", 8.5", 10.5", and 7" long respectively
including overlap. (The Actual drawing is approx 28" long) With each on
the individual images the dimensions hold true. However, when I put the
pieces together and stitch them the image become 64" long. Whats up?

I have discovered that if resize the paper of the first image, import
the others in and align them, then the dimensions are accurate. This
problem has only affected this piece.
