    Hi Wonder,

    I've just mailed you off-list with a level-corrected image.

Send me a full frame image so I can see if your footage
    is salvageable.

  3. MON.

I don't have as my e-mail account anymore.

What is your e-mail address? Without the spam header diversion...

I can e-mail you my real e-mail address and you can show me what you came up with.

    Thanks,
    Wonder 21

  6. Tom,

I take offense. Since when is using a handle a sign of mental illness?
    You are using one.

Awhile back, I was asking some questions about if anyone had ever shot
a super low ratio feature on 35mm. Newsgroups being as they may, I
knew there would be lots of flame threads so why expose myself to that
under my full name? Would you?

I was respopnding to MON.'s comment about adjusted levels and I
thought I was signed into google as my handle but I wasn't. I'm trying
to figure out if I can salvage this footage. I really don't care about
silly newsgroup antics but your comment did offend me.

Anyway, the cat is out of the bag. Eric James Niemi has 115minutes of
fogged film instead of a cutable footage.

    Oh well... Life goes on.

Yeah, read my last response to "sparkle_tom".

Anyway, I would love to see what you were able to do with the levels.

Just e-mail me to my above address, Thanks again.

Well that's much different. You're such a fuckup you likely just left the
    camera open.

And you must know that no one wants to help a crook like you.

I quoteth a bit of uplifting wisdom, "... got out and forgot what I had
    heard, the radio program was
speaking about not worrying about your needs. About realizing that
someone greater knows your needs better than yourself. Knows your
    needs before you even ask."

Since you "need" to operate under several identities please tell me which
one's were named by your higher power.

Employing deciet to help out those needs? With Gawd's winkin' agreement?

Actually, I feel *Wonder 21*, whether devinely inspired or not, is quite
harmless and wish you no insult for its use. On the other hand, I suspect
there is a horde of identities that you employ. If this is not the case, I
AM sorry. There's just something "not right" with AFILMGUYS et al.

I won't/don't judge you, Eric, personally. I don't care for that either.
Yet, your actions are fair game.

The red-hot moment you began conversing to yourself via nicknames.

Have you ever done this, Eric?

You are correct, I use a handle ... a search will show that I've had it for
10+ years. It interchanges with "SparkleTom" ... no deciet is intended
there, BTW. I promise you'll not find SparkleTom and sparktom debating for
    the enthrallment of others.

  12. Incredible thanks to Mark O. and David G. !!!

Thanks to Mark O'Neill and David Geshwind, a VERY big thanks.

I looked at both your image sample corrections and I was very
    impressed.

If anyone in the filmmaking community is looking for some serious
image colorists, look no further. Mark and David did a WAY better job
salvaging an image than my telecine operator did.

Thanks again guys for sending me some hope. I depended almost solely
on visuals for this project to avoid dialogue mix ups and because of
the low shooting ratio so I was totally devastated when I saw the
    fogged film.

You gave me hope. I will see if I can at least pull off a DV edit and
    see if it plays okay.

Thanks again for lending a hand. If it cuts and plays okay, there will
be a SPECIAL THANKS credit for both of you in the final film.

    Sincerely,
    Cheers to all,

    Hi Eric,

No problems. Like I said, I'm sure a lot more could be done with
    a full-frame, non-compressed image.

    Best of luck,

    MON.

  14. Same here.

    1. You're quite welcome.

    2. As I said, I only spent a few minutes with a simple program. A
state-of-the-art digital transfer of full-bandwidth image stream should be
    able to do much better.

    3. Even if not, you might be able to find an "interesting" look and turn
    the flaw into a feature.
