D70 dust not on the sensor but viewable in the viewfinder

Discussion in 'Digital SLR' started by hightidemedia, Mar 24, 2006.

  1. I have successfully SensorSwiped my sensor clean, taken some pure blue
sky shots at aperture 16, and the sensor is now very clean. But
looking through the EVF I can clearly see lint dust etc in there.
    Driving me nuts....
Is there anyway to clean the dust from that view?

    Dslrs do not have evfs.
Try cleaning the focus screen and mirror?

It's a good job you chimed in there, Joan - that particular Nit has only
been picked twice before and I don't think that many of us got the message.

Perhaps you wouldn't mind repeating it just once more, to be on the safe
    side?
