Here's a photographer I snapped who likes murals in his background:

and another photographer that I took a photograph of:

and a gallery of my own photos of wall murals:

  3. I had a bitch with a friend about how local graffiti was often badly
photographed and many of the best works were never shot. Tony's mural
collection is not the last word in fine art photography (and I wouldn't
suggest Tony is claiming it is) but it's a good contribution and I was
thinking of that as inspiration when we had the discussion.

They've been building up a gallery for a while now and have more to shoot
but their collection is going a long way to fill this gap. I think this is
important because it will raise the bar for local news media and provide a
better target than the scruffy scribbles most people who were into creating
graffiti used to do. Everyone wins.

I despise graffiti. It is a blight and an insult to the community (not
to mention the damage to property owners and neighbors).

That said, some wall murals are good, but the good ones are art, not
graffiti. I don't see anything at all redeeming about the Trinity
    Park graffiti.

Although the photograph presents a silhouette of the expecting woman, I would have preferred to see a hint of her facial features. It would have created a better snap, but that’s my take on the snap. Otherwise, I love the S-shape of her body, captured beautifully in this image.
