Well then since you have visited photoshop, why did you leave the "dust
spot" in the top LH corner?

It is not dust, it is the piece of a mast on a boat and I chose to leave it
there otherwise I would be told off for over PPing and then it would not be
    a photo.

And where the f**k are these halos, I can't see the buggers, mind you I do
wear glasses and have trouble seeing a lot of things, so best you show me
    exactly. where they are.

I would have thought you would be more pleased I got a snap of a dancing
pelican, tap dancing at that, this something that I at least don't see every
    day???

    Cheers.

All around his body, most notably on the black of the feathers.

He's right - it is oversharpened. A 0.3 pixel Gaussian blur helps, but not
as much as not having sharpened it quite so much in the first place.

    ....but who gives a %$^#?

Its still a funny photo, showing good timing.
    You can't Photoshop *that*.

Speaking of funny pelican photos that lack somewhat in technical merit
but make up for it in timing that can't be photoshopped...

Yes well I did take this shot and process it a few years back with one of my
earlier D-SLRs, I guess we have all come a long way since then, I just like
the shot, you can see the concentration on his face, tap, tap, tap.......

Can you see any in this one?
