Now that Nikon is offering $100 rebate on the CoolPix 3700, I might buy it.
I was formally ready to buy the 3200 . I need some opinions on one vs the
other. IS it worth it to go for the 3700. Your opinions please and thank
    you in advance...

    Fred:

    FYI:

I have been using a 3100 (model before the 3200) for about 1 1/2 years now.
I am very happy with it after I got it to replace a defective A series
    Canon.

The 3200 uses AA (NiMH are recommended) batteries while the 3700 uses
proprietary Li batteries. The 3200 has a plastic body and the 3700 has a
metal body. The 3700 has additional focus options, which are useful in
    difficult shooting situations.

Personally, with 3200's selling for about $200 now, I would buy a 3200.

    Good luck,

    Steve
