I have a film scanner, do i still need to develop the film myself? Or i
can just send rolls to the store and scan them later?

A film scanner scans developed film. It doesn't matter whether you've
developed it yourself or whether you've got it developed at a store.

I use a film scanner, I develop my own Black and White, but get a lab to do
colour. I've found it useful to ask the lab to return the film uncut, so
that I can cut to length as I require.

Well, someone has to process it. Are you serious? Tell you what, send
it thru the scanner the way it is and see what happens. Come back here
and let us know. Or better yet, take the film and the scanner to the
store. They can scan for you.
