    Hi all,

Have been pointed to the dirtcheapcameras website recently, and am
pleasantly surprised at the pricing that they have.

Has anyone ever had any problems with them? Or rave reviews?

    cheers

Rave reviews from my end. I was able to get the Canon 10D before any other
bricks n mortar store could even promise me the next shipment. They operate
with bare bones support, of course, but you can always call them if you have
any issues, you're not limited to internet based communication.

Haven't had any problems with them, and have not been able to get any other
store to consistently match their prices. I'd buy again for new equipment.

Bought from them on 3 or 4 occasions.
    No problems at all.
Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

I'll add my positive with my purchase of a Olympus c-5050 for school...
although they did stuff up the order a little... they gave me a MORE
expensive XD card instead of a CF card that I bought as an extra.
It was nice of them to say keep it when I told them :)

8 out of 8 positives and add me to that.

Got the 10D from them a hell of a lot cheaper than any bricks and morter
place and probably had better communication with them. I bought mine in
their first shipment of 10Ds in March and about a month earlier than anybody
else was willing to commit to.

Honest straight talking people....oh, I dealt with them over the phone and
not on the web which worked for me. I called them recently regarding a lens
but they were out of stock and promptly advised me. Unfortunately their
projected delivery did not suit my needs and there was no probs in
cancelling my order. I ended up paying $50 more from a shop....oh well....

    That's 9/9 recommendations.....100%

I've only bought one lens from them (a 50mm f1.8 prime), but was
impressed with how fast they processed & delivered my order.

My only problem with them is that their website doesn't work properly
unless you use one that has every insecure, non-standard bit of bullshit
tinsel turned on. (My day job involves network security, so this sort of
thing is a pet peeve of mine.)

  10. I have brought three items from the web, and DirtCheapCameras is the only
    POSITIVE experience I have had.

Canon A20 a few years back and it arrived in 2 days ( I'm outside Sydney ).
