DMC-LX15 flash does not fire

Hi all,

I've a problem with my panasonic DMC-LX15 (4 years old): the flash does not fire.

I verified all settings , performed a full reset of the camera and updated the firmware to last version , but still not working.

Here some current settings that could effect:

Flash Flash Mode : flash icon

Flash Syncro: 1st

Flash Adjust: 0 EV

HDR Off

Shutter Type MSHTR

Bracket Tpe Off

Firmware ver 1.2

I think that is all correct. The strange thing is that when I open the flash, on the display the flash icon appears not crossed out and then it turns red when I shoot, but it doesn't light. So I'm starting to think it's an electrical problem, although it has never fallen or taken a bump (even if I stressed it a little too much, for example on the beach...)

Has anyone had my same problem?
