I've never heard of the brand Digital Concepts and it doesn't look like a
U.S. firm. Does anyone know anything about the reliability of their nickel
metal hydride batteries and charger? Walmart.com sells their 1 hour rapid
charger with four 2200mah capacity batteries for under $19. BestBuy sells a
30 minute Energizer charger with four 2050mah batteries for $47.

Does anyone know if the Digital Concepts products are any good? They look
    like a good buy.

Thanks in advance for your replies,

  2. Yes. The BQ-390 is $20 at Costco. It's a WallWart-style charger that
comes with 6 AA and 2 AAA NiMH batteries.

It's a GREAT little charger -- the main reason I bought it.
    It's a 100-240 VAC, 50-60 cps charger that has a fold-away mains plug.
    Just The Ticket for travelling.

    The batteries however....
Oh, they seem to "play" ok. But, in big, bold, bright yellow letters
it says *"2100 MAH"* -- then, in real small print in front of that it
    says "Up to...".
