Hi! I'm in need of some information and I hope someone can help, *please*. I
have the Sony dcr-trv38 video camera with memory stick. I'm having a great
time using the Memory Mix function which allows you to mix previously taken
still photos with either video or new photos. This is my question:
Is there any way that I can download new iamges onto the memory stick and
use them with the camera? I have tried, using images created in photoshop
and in the correct format and size, but they don't show up on the camera
    index. Can anyone enlighten me?

    Thanks for your time!

I managed to figure it out last night- it's simple, but a stupid way to have
    to do it.

Just in case some one needs to know how (and I'm sure there must be an
easier way).I think my problem might have been due to file naming, but I'm
    not sure.
I'm sure there is an easier way, but this is how I got it to work:

Take a "throw-away" picture on the memory stick. Open that file directly
from the memory stick into a photo editing program. Edit to your hearts
desire (I add text on a white or blue background), then save it directly
back onto your memory stick as the throw-away file name. More files can be
created by using the next number up, as long as it has the same DSC00* file
    name.

    Hope this is helpful!
